Send quick and fun video messages. You can select from different outlines for the video, such as a christmas tree, snowflake, heart and others. Just tap the record icon in the chat. Show everything around you by switching cameras and using the flash while recording! To record a quick message, tap and hold the button. The video will be sent as soon as you let go.

This mini app syncs with the device you use to track your runs and shows your personal statistics: routes, distances, pulse, calories. The Run mini app also has online sports events you can participate in.
• We now have two separate buttons for Record call and Start streaming. Call recordings are sent to a chat automatically created for your video call.
• Reminders for scheduled calls are now available. You can set them when creating a call and get notified 15 minutes before the call starts. If you add the call to Outlook or another calendar, you’ll get a notification there as well.

• 100 personal playlists from celebrities. Find out what popular artists are listening to and how similar your music tastes are. See what surprises you and share it with your friends.

We're increasing account security. Our new algorithm checks if your password is among those leaked from other sources and at risk of hackers gaining access to it. This database check is carried out automatically in encrypted form and on the VK servers. If the same password is discovered to be compromised, the system will immediately suggest changing it.
Create a unique sticker pack with your own personalized vmoji.
To create your virtual avatar, open any chat and tap the vmoji icon in the sticker keyboard. Choose everything from the skin tone to clothes in the constructor or leave it to the neural networks.
We've added warnings about dangerous users in chats. New group chats with unknown users notify you if the user is showing suspicious activity. You can report the user and block them, in which case your chat with them will be deleted.
The clips feed now instantly adjusts to your interests and mood thanks to the new recommendation system.
Watch clips as usual, leave comments, likes or "Not interesting". Your reactions immediately affect what's in your feed, hiding unsuitable clips and showing more interesting ones. To do this, our algorithms analyze all videos on VK Clips, recognize speech and celebrities on screen and filter out duplicates.
Negative comments are now automatically hidden in VK Clips. Our algorithm recognizes rude speech, threats and spam and hides them under a bar at the bottom of the page. You can decide whether to read them or not.

Update the app and promote products in clips, record mini lessons and unboxing videos, and start challenges. Clips will be saved in your community and appear in the VK Clips news feed. They may also appear in the top and recommended videos, helping you get more views.
Check the security of your account is in the updated Manage VK ID section of the side menu.
The app will remind you when to change your password and give you other personalized security recommendations, such as enabling 2-step verification or linking your phone number and email address. This will help keep your personal data secure and allow you to quickly restore access to your account.

• Caller ID
The app will show who’s calling you and if an unknown number could be spam. Smart algorithms recognize suspicious incoming calls and check numbers using their own database of companies. The service is free and can be enabled in Settings.
New in the messenger:
• Chat archive — perfect for when you want to clean up your chat list but not delete any chats. Tap a chat and select “Archive” to archive the chat. To see your archive, swipe down on the chat list.
• Valentine’s Day background — add some romance to your chats with the new thematic background. You can change the background in your appearance settings or chat menu.

You decide who gets to see your VK Clips and who doesn’t. Now you can set privacy settings for any clip. Don’t be shy to let your creativity flow!
You can hide your clip from friends, or their friends, or create a list of people, such as classmates, colleagues or family. You can access privacy settings when the camera’s on, as well as when preparing it for publication or editing it. You can even hide clips you’ve already published.
Find songs you vibe with on VK Music! Now you can find playlists from people with similar musical tastes on the main page of the Music section.
Here, you’ll find your tracks at the top, with the “Collections from users” block right below. These are playlists from people on the same musical wavelength as you, with similar favorite genres, artists, and moods. We’ll find ideal matches for you among hundreds of thousands of unique playlists — all so you can find your new favorite song.
There’s always something interesting to watch on the updated VK Video page (Hub → Video).
• Explore a massive library of content with millions of free HD videos, including films, series, shows, sports and esports live streams.
• Discover something interesting in themed tabs in the For You section using our improved search feature and recommendations.
• Watch wherever and whenever. Videos start quickly and unstable internet connections have almost no effect on how they play.
Do you want to sell something? Just leave it to our algorithms. They’ll automatically create classified ads for you and post them on the VK social network and Youla — if, of course, you let them.
All you have to do is make an ordinary post with photos on your profile or in your community. Our neural network will take care of the rest. It’ll create the ad using information from the post, choosing a category and indicating your city.
We made the messenger look even better and got rid of some bugs in chat themes. You can choose from 11 colorful backgrounds or upload your own. To change the chat theme, just go to your settings (Appearance → Messenger).

Updates to the Music section:
• The Explore tab now features a chart ranking top albums right next to a list of top tracks. They’re updated daily, so you’ll be able to stay on top of the latest trends in music, see who’s new to the chart, who’s rising, and who’s on their way out.
• Artist overviews now have “Appears on” and “Found in playlists” sections where you can find out about your favorite artists’ projects and listen to playlists they’re in.
Now you’ll be able to see if someone is trying to send you a photo or video, just like with text and voice messages. There will no longer be any awkward silences while files are uploading.

Notifications about people leaving old chats won’t bother you anymore. This applies to chats with more than 10 members or ones that no one has written in for at least a week.

Introducing the “Shopping” section! Here you’ll find a personalized feed containing tens of thousands of products with reviews from buyers and sellers. Make your order right on VK by selecting the items you want and tapping “Buy”.

When commenting, you can open a list of pages to mention by just typing @. Super simple, no magic needed.

If you upload several photos, they will automatically be arranged in a way reminiscent of a magazine layout. But if you don’t like something, just drag and drop your photos to rearrange them into the perfect order.
